Chanel Mademoiselle Privé Exhibition - London
The Mademoiselle Prive Exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery, in London. Wow. The entire gallery was converted into a shrine to Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld. It was visually breathtaking, interactive, informative, and completely mind blowing! From rooms dedicated to the making of Chanel No.5, to artwork painted by Karl himself, and of course a stunning collection of original Chanel Haute Couture pieces, it really was an inspirational feast. Photos do not give justice, but here are some faves.

The rooms housing original Chanel Haute Couture pieces were brilliant. The way in which the garments were displayed was a perfect fusion of Fashion Design and Art - dark rooms, lined with portraits - the clothing lit up with lightsabre-esque poles....

However, as you moved from room to room, the hallways were probably my most favourite aspect... mimicking the famous black and white Chanel packaging, it was so simple in its execution, yet so effective in cementing "Mademoiselle Privé" as one of the greatest exhibitions I've had the honour of visiting. It was the attention to detail within these white walls - that truly mirrored the same attention to detail possessed by the great lady in which we were there to celebrate....
